When "You Ought to Know" reached international airwaves in 1995, it was obvious that the alternative rock landscape was about to have a revolutionary change. The emotive voice of the song came from 19 years old Alanis Morissette who by then was a fresh face in the rock scene. The 90s was the golden era of alternative and grunge rock, but in an array of artists, no one sounded like her and conveyed similar lyrical prowess she had. The song opened doors for its album to reach meteoric success. "Jagged Little Pill" intrigued rock listeners, most especially women who heard their experiences through the tunes. One after another, the album's tracks hit the top of the charts. "Ironic" became an anthem of letting things be, "All I Really Want" saved lives with its message of self-acceptance, and "Head Over Feet" inspires with its contemplations about the struggles in the world. As a result, the album received diamond certification in the US, four Grammy Awards for Morissette, and a secured place in pop culture as among the most influential records in music history.

Fast forward 25 years later, "Jagged Little Pill" has never faltered in relevance and is considered to be a once-in-a-lifetime masterpiece. This also put Alanis Morissette at the top of the Alternative Rock Hall of Fame. The album opened the world to more of her albums that are as powerful as this one. To honor the huge contribution of the album to the world, a musical and a documentary is dedicated to it.

Since the 25th anniversary is a huge celebration, Alanis Morissette will commence a tour dedicated to it. The "Triple Moon Tour" will be visiting 31 venues in North America. It will start in Phoenix, Arizona in June and will end in California in August.

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Morgan Wadde will support the hitmaker in this trek. Joan Jett & The Blackhearts is the legendary rock band that spawned classic rock albums like "Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth," and "Pure and Simple." On the other hand, Morgan Wade broke through the country scene with her album "Puppets with My Heart" in 2018.

The "Three Moons Tour" will be at the Budweiser Stage on July 13. Buy tickets now!
