Luke Bryan started his successful music career by writing for fellow country artists and high school friends; Travis Tritt and Billy Currington in the early 2000's. After making the decision to become a solo musician, he signed a record contract with Capitol Nashville in 2007 and released his album debut I’ll Stay Me, the record smashed the charts and was a global success both critically and commercially, this incredible news awarded him with; Top New Solo Vocalist and Top New Artist at the Academy of Country Music Awards, USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year (for "Do I") at the CMT Music Awards, and New Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards!
His success didn't stop there, in 2015 he received Academy of Country Music Awards & Country Music Association Awards "Entertainer of the Year" award, this is also when Bryan's fifth studio album Kill The Lights was released.
