Is there a more iconic guitar riff than that of ‘Smoke on the Water’? Is there a more legendary, trailblazing rock band out there that laid the foundation for hard rock and heavy metal bands to follow? Is there any other group that could outdo the work of the “unholy trinity of British hard rock and heavy metal in the early to mid-1970s alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath?
The answer is a very simple and straight-forward ‘no’. And if you’re a “non-believer” - expect to be converted the moment the first guitar notes rip through the air!
So if you’re keen for epic hard rock classics and sizzling new face-melters, get ready, because Deep Purple is coming to the RBC Amphitheatre on 18 August 2026 alongside special guests Kansas and Jefferson Starship!
Tickets are on sale now with prices starting from as low as $48, so get clicking on the ‘Get Tickets’ link now to secure your spot!

Just think about this for a hot second: the effortless way Ian Gillan’s voice wraps around the songs that defines Deep Purple - going from baritone to falsetto in a split second, completely defying the years he has on the odometer; the way Simon McBride’s powerful, extended guitar solos cuts through the maelstrom of thunderous hard rock oozing from the stage; the way Deep Purple has been staying true to Ian Gillan’s 1972 statement: “I want everything louder than everything else”; the epic back catalogue jam-packed with face-melters such as Smoke on the Water, Child In Time, Soldier Of Fortune, Perfect Strangers, Burn, Black Night, and When a Blind Man Cries being performed live by the very band responsible for half of all rock bands out there; and a live, in-person confirmation that Deep Purple is very much alive and well.
Could 2026 hold anything more exciting, electrifying, and just plain epic?
Deep Purple just announced a mammoth North American tour bringing their legendary brand of hard rock that got them ranked as one of VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock, made them a World Music Awards recipient, and got them inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to fans across the nation. The trek is slated to kick off in early August 2026 in Raleigh, North Carolina, with stops in all the major cities on the itinerary, including Wantagh, Laval, Clarkston, Highland Park, Calgary, Mountain View, and Las Vegas, before wrapping up in mid-September 2026 in Sparks, Nevada.
Deep Purple will be joined at the RBC Amphitheatre by the legendary American rock band behind epic tracks such as Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind, and San Francisco-based rock band Jefferson Starship, best known for bangers such as Sara and It’s Not Enough.
In its past three decades of existence, the RBC Amphitheatre has become the go-to for all things top-tier entertainment around Toronto, and has seen hundreds of thousands of fans flock through its doors to catch their favorite artists live on stage. Apart from boasting a massive capacity of 16,000, the RBC Amphitheatre also features state-of-the-art sound and lighting, incredible acoustics, ample safe parking, fantastic amenities, and great sight-lines. The seating is divided into a covered reserved seating area, an uncovered reserved seating section, and a massive general admission lawn space.
