TIM MCGRAW is kicking off a new era in full swing as he unveils PAWN SHOP GUITAR. With a new track coming out, his signature & legendary country energies are coming back to life once more. To his name, he has seventeen records and scored 12/15 No. 1 entries on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, proving that he’s one of the biggest forces in country music today. On stage, his live shows are wildly celebrated — fans sharing how his intense and “big-tent” country music energies are felt all throughout.
For this night in Toronto, he’ll be joined by a special guest, the alt-country band — 49 Winchester.
“The band and I are so excited to get back out on the road this summer,” said McGraw. “I dare you to find more hits in one show! This will be a great night of incredible songs and musicianship. 49 Winchester and Timothy Wayne will join us for select dates and we can't wait to see everyone.”
Following his 2024 “Standing Room Only” tour, Tim McGraw is back in shape, as his previous trek was cut short in order to focus on his health. With Pawn Shop Guitar energies to look forward to, witness the man bounce back — and make sure to celebrate as hard as ya’ll can.
McGraw first learned the guitar when he was in college, and often performed for money. At a time he claimed that his friends would hide his guitar cuz he was so bad, the man had definitely transformed and refined his skills — becoming the legendary figure in country music he is today. In 1999 when his music hero Keith Whitely died, McGraw took a leap of faith, and decided to quit college to pursue music full-time.
That wasn’t a simple thing to achieve, simply letting your dreams take the wheel. In 1994, it soon paid off as his sophomore album “Not a Moment Too Soon” became a commercial success. The single “Don’t Take the Girl” marked his first #1 entry on the U.S. country charts + peaking at #17 on the Hot 100. That point marked the beginning of his legendary career — one where he dropped chart-topping albums, smash hits, and dominated country music for decades to come. Some of his biggest hits include “Live Like You Were Dying,” “It's Your Love,” “Something Like That,” and more.
Formerly known as Budweiser Stage, the RBC Amphitheatre is one of Toronto’s most beloved concert venues. Hosting over 800 shows since 1995, millions of attendees have celebrated, rocked out, and sang along as their favorite artists lit up the stage in starry nights. Tim McGraw is bound to get the ground shaking with his intense country-bangin’ energies.
On the event date, there’ll be various food and beverage options available so you can grab a drink or have a bite before or during the show.
