The album was the first album to top the Canadian chart and first to achieve global success, earning rankings on the US Billboard 200, Australia, and the UK. The band made amazing strides with singles, “This Could be Anywhere in the World,” “Rough Hands,” “Boiled Frogs,” and tons more. Voted among the 50 Greatest Albums of the 21st Century, the influence this album holds in the rock music scene is unprecedented. The band from Ontario released their self-titled debut in 2002. Alexisonfire made some impressionable traction during their early years. But it was their third album Crisis that put them on the post hardcore map. The band achieved global success in 2006 as well as maintained their winning streak with subsequent efforts Old Crows /Young Cardinals in 2009 and Otherness 2022. The band, which comprises all five original members, has secured two Juno Awards.
