RBC Amphitheatre
The Fray & Dashboard Confessional are taking over the RBC Amphitheatre on Wednesday, August 26th. This is one of the limited stops on the Summer of Light Tour in the great white north. You won't be "Over Your Head" if you come around to this one.
Dashboard Confessional is also going to bring all of their hits like "Vindicated" and "Hands Down" to this performance. It's going to be a full one-day rock fest as these two bands will also be getting support from other performers. When it's all set and done, you're going to realize they can still make rock shows like they used to; it's just that some modern performers aren't really trying.
Spots inside the RBC Amphitheatre for this one are starting at only $61. How long do you think they're going to last at these rates? Make sure to click the "Buy Tickets" link soon to pick the best seats in the house.
After a decently long hiatus and the exit of lead man Isaac Slade, The Fray have been easing their way back into the fold since 2024. Now in 2026, they've got the upcoming album and the tour to back it up. Rock fans of the 2000s are likely foaming at the mouth for this one! The tour's a blast from the past through and through, with Dashboard Confessional also on board for every stop. Dust off those skinny jeans and maybe do your best to get a mohawk going. Bands these days do bring true guitar lines to the stage anymore, but that's not a problem that you're going to have with these guys.
If you haven't had a chance to catch The Fray live with Joe King now as the lead man, you're in for a few surprises. A lot of times, bands have a rough go at replacing their lead singer. In this case, though, it's a familiar voice since King has been singing with The Fray from the beginning. He has a way of slowing down tracks like "You Found Me" and "How to Save a Life" that allows the audience to focus their attention on the lyrics. It creates an even more intimate connection with the band than you remember. He's turning these songs into ballads and anthems.
The true rock experience is going to be at the front of the amphitheatre; there's no way around that one. This doesn't mean, though, that you can't find good spots as you move toward the back. Sure, you lose the up close and personal feel. With Joe King now at the helm, it could ramp up to another level. However, you could still have great views of the stage even from the very back of the RBC Amphitheatre.
Speaking of the back of the RBC Amphitheatre, right now you can find lawn tickets for around $60. That's one of the best deals of this entire tour. Be sure to click the "Buy Tickets" link soon.
