2026 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE is kicking off a new era, inking a deal with a new label, ANTI- Records. Capping off a two-decade run with Atlantic, the band is ready to embark on new journeys, staying grounded on music that’s straight from their hearts. While fans eagerly wait for official deets of a new album coming out, the band just announced an expansive 2026 North American Tour. With a roster of special guests spread out across cities, Toronto will see Japanese Breakfast opening this wonderful night at RBC Amphitheatre. Right under the stars, you’re in for the best indie rock, alternative, and indie pop smashers that’ll have you singing along, up on your feet, and cheering out loud.

A NEW ERA WITH ANTI-

As said, the “I Will Follow You into the Dark” hitmakers are kicking off a new era with a new record label, ANTI- Records. Marking the end of their two-decade partnership with Atlantic, Death Cab for Cutie continues to stand firm in its values of creative freedom, authenticity, and hard-hitting rock energies.

We are thrilled to be joining the roster at ANTI- which includes some of our favorite artists, old friends and in many cases, both,” Ben Gibbard shared in a release about their new label. “We also can’t wait to begin this new chapter with the wonderful staff at ANTI- and share with you what we’ve been working on.”

Seems like new music is coming your way… Fingers crossed, they’ll debut a new song on tour! While no official word of a new project has been heard, fans have been clamoring and looking out for official deets. Their last album, “Asphalt Meadows” reflected on survival, anxieties, and longevity. Keeping it real, you can expect big surprises and passionate energies from the “Transatlanticism” creators.
