Tim McGraw and the words ‘country music superstar’ are like two peas in a pod. Tim McGraw has rightfully earned this much-coveted title through his astounding record sales history, and most especially the love, loyalty, and support of his legions of fans. With a cumulative album sales of over 40 million records in the U.S., McGraw holds the record of the eighth best-selling artist, and the third best-selling country artist in the Soundscan era. His career is decorated with 11 consecutive albums that debuted at Number One on the Billboard albums charts, twenty-three singles No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music awards, 11 Country Music Association (CMA) awards, 10 American Music Awards, and three People’s Choice Awards. Fans not only buy his records. They flock to his concerts, making his Soul2Soul II Tour with Faith Hill the highest grossing tour in country music history, and one of the top five among all genres of music. In 2012, his tour with Kenny Chesney is at the top of Billboard’s list of highest ranking country tours.

In terms of musicality, Tim McGraw has dared to cross over to uncharted music territories, rarely or never before treaded by other country music artists. In 2004, he did a surprising duet with hip-hop artist, Nelly, for the song “Over and Over”. This crossover hit spent 10 weeks at the Top 40 chart, and gave McGraw exposure on radio and audiences of various genres like hip-hop, rap, and the adult contemporary market. In 2008, he was also featured on glam-rock-metal band Def Leppard’s album ‘Songs from the Sparkle Lounge’, as co-writer of the song “Nine Lives”.

With over two decades of touring, Tim McGraw is still giddy with energy and enthusiasm for this tour. ”This album marks a new sense of excitement and artistic freedom for me, and I really wanted to extend that same feeling to the tour and create a cool vibe for the fans.” Tim McGraw’s sense of positivity is contagious. The vibe is spreading far, wide, and fast. Get your tickets now!
