Trickling between being a jam band and a well-drilled rock/blues/R&B unit, Tedeschi Truck Band is one of those bands that pride themselves on being unique and diverse. After all, the band is a collaborative project of artists who have performed and toured with several reputable bands before establishing the band that they are today. The band was formed in 2010 when Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi combined their groups after performing together in 2007 as the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi's Soul Stew Revival. After their Savannah Music Festival performance on April 1, 2010, the band officially debuted as a group — and cliche as it sounds, the rest was history.

The band, fronted by real-life couple Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, released their first album, "Revelator," in 2011, establishing their name as one of Blues Rock's major players. By winning the Grammy Award for Best Blues Album the year after, the band cemented their status as a top-tier band, which led them to release several albums over the years. To date, the band has released five studio and three live albums, the latest of which is 2022's "I Am the Moon."

It has been almost two years since the band released new materials. That is why fans were all ecstatic when the 12-piece ensemble announced that they would be embarking on a tour in 2023. Dubbed the "Deuces Wild tour," the series of concerts was initially slated for winter dates on the East Coast only. However, the band decided to extend their tour this year to cater to fans all over the country, much to their fans' delight.

One of their stops will be at the Budweiser Stage on August 15. Their concert in the Toronto venue is one of the few dates they have outside the country. The country singer-songwriter Margo Price will serve as a front act for the band. Price is known for hits like "Been to the Mountain," "Change of Heart," and Hands of Time," among many others. With her raw, enigmatic voice and infectious stage presence, she will surely ignite the crowd before Tedeschi Trucks Band takes center stage. Don't miss these two incredible acts on August 15.
