American rock band Poison formed in 1983, releasing their smash hit debut album, Look What the Cat Dragged In, three years later, launching the three charting hits: "Talk Dirty to Me", "I Want Action", and "I Won't Forget You". The band's 1988 follow-up, launched the Billboard Hot 100 number-one “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”, becoming the band's most successful album, certified five-times platinum in the US. The band had continued success throughout the 1990s and the 2000s saw a boost in popularity when the band's original line-up re-formed. Poison have released seven studio albums, four live albums, five compilation albums, and twenty eight radio singles since their 1986 debut.
