Louis Tomlinson was one-fifth of the incredibly popular boy band, One Direction. He first emerged as a contestant in X Factor in 2010. He was put together in a group along with four other contestants, and together, they formed the group, which would eventually be named One Direction. The group moved on to release five multi-platinum earning albums and sold over 70 million records worldwide.
After the announcement of One Direction’s hiatus, Tomlinson pursued his solo career. In 2020, he released his debut album, The Walls, peaking at number 4 on the U.K. chart and number 9 in the U.S. The album spawned Tomlinson’s massive U.K. number 2 hit, “Just Hold On” with Steve Aoki.
