Lauryn Hill & Nas are hooking up for an exciting joint tour that comes to Budweiser Stage on Sunday 10th September 2017! The Grammy-winning neo-soul legend and multi-platinum selling rapper have collaborated before, on the 1996 hit "If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)" and are keen to be working together again:
"This is history," Nas said about the joint tour in a statement at the time. "Better late than never. Life is good!"
American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress Lauryn Hill first came to prominence in 1993, as the star of Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit. Hill then went on to find success with her high school band the Fugees, whose 1994 album The Score was a huge hit both critically and commercially, selling over six million copies in the US. Hill is best known for her 1998 solo studio album The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill, which sold over eight million copies in the US and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The album, which featured the singles "Doo Wop (That Thing)", "Ex-Factor" and "Everything Is Everything", earned her a record-breaking ten nominations and five awards at the 41st Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, and Best New Artist.
