Born in New Zealand, Keith Urban first made a name for himself as a member of the band The Ranch, with whom he saw two charting singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs. Following that, Keith Urban moved to the United States and released his first solo, self-titled album while signed to Capitol Nashville and immediately saw a number one hit – a pattern that has repeated with all of his subsequent albums to date!! Now, he’s in the process of putting together his latest full-length work, “GraffitiU”.
“It’s very much air-traffic control mode,” he joked, describing the production process. “I’m listening to mixes, giving my notes and getting a revised mix. It’s a lot of back and forward on all kinds of things right now. I’m not very good at multi-tasking, but that’s exactly what’s happening right now. It’s multi-tasking on steroids.”
