Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and multi award winning band Chicago is one of the best selling and longest running rock bands of all time. They had sold over 100 million albums and found incredible success during the 70s and 80s. The band released their biggest hit, “If You Leave Me Now” in 1976, which went to number 1 in several charts, including the Billboard Hot 100. They followed this mega hit with another smasher, “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” in 1982. Chicago has earned numerous accolades including Billboard Music Awards, induction into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and a Grammy Lifetime Achiemvent Award in 2020.
Styx has also found incredible success with their progressive rock music and outstanding power ballads. The band is known for their massive hit, “Mr. Roboto” and “Renegade.” Styx has released a total of 18 studio efforts and sold over 50 million albums. Their most successful efforts include 1977 Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, and 1981’s Paradise Theater. The band has been credited for being one of the pioneers in progressive rock music and heavily influenced the next generation of musicains. Styx has been inducted into the Classic Rock Hall of Fame and Illinois Rock & Roll Museum Hall of Fame.
