The Last Summer on Earth Tour is a rollicking summer music roadshow that brings together onstage alt-rock bands buddies Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds Five, and Guster.

Fun, rock humor and rhythms is a trademark of every Barenaked Ladies record.  Their performances are marked by improv and impromptu comedic banter.  Formed in 1988 in Scarborough, Ontario, BNL  has secured their spot in the annals of music history with their  exemplary hit singles “One Week”, “The Old Apartment”, “Pinch Me”, “If I Had $1000000”, “Brian Wilson”;  as well as the theme for the sitcom The Big Bang Theory. As of last count, they have sold over 15 million records, and have collected multiple Juno Awards and Grammy nominations.

The monster hit rock piano ballad ‘Brick’ brought Ben Folds Five into the mainstream consciousness of rock-alternative fans worldwide.  Formed in 1994, and disbanded in 2000.  Now they’re back in each other’s company, and this year, they have released their first new studio album in 13 years.

Guster is notorious for opening up their own concerts,  disguising as psychedelic rockers “Trippin’ Balls” and as Christian Southern Rock outfit “The Peace Soldiers”.  They have released six albums from 1993 to 2006.  After a break from the recording scene, they self-released Guster: Live Acoustic, a collection of live recordings from their 2012 acoustic tour.

Are you ready to rock out and laugh out loud?!  Your lungs and jaws would defnitely benefit from this rock and rollicking exercise.  So get up and get yourself a ticket to the best and hopefully not the ‘L ast Summer on Earth tour 2013’!
