If this is an event you want to experience, head to the Budweiser Stage this August 11. Led by the Tony Award-winner Macy Schmidt, The Barbie Land Sinfonietta will play the songs from the movie, including "Barbie World," "WATATI," "Dance The Night," and "What Was I Made For?" among many others. Met with harsh criticisms when it was announced that it would have a live-action movie, Barbie the Movie was initially thought to be a disaster. However, it was a movie like no other. It creatively tackled important themes while giving the audience a fun, nostalgic, and whimsical journey into the world of Barbie. Being the highest-grossing movie of 2023, it proved all initial critics wrong. It turned out to be a trailblazing movie that empowered women of all shapes and colors. Interwoven themes of friendship, bravery, and self-discovery are set against a background of vivid colors, enchanted environments, and endearing characters.

This year, the movie will be brought to life in a whole new different way. Step right up to Barbie: The Movie: In Concert, a revolutionary experience that seamlessly combines live music with film. In this Overture Global Entertainment–produced concert, viewers are whisked away to the enchanted world of Barbie right off of the screen. In this innovative show, the record-smashing film will be projected onto a giant LED screen above as The Barbie Land Sinfonietta orchestra, led by Tony Award-winner Macy Schmidt, performs the film's award-winning score.

Audiences watch Barbie's adventures unfold in real time, synchronized with the musical score. When Barbie rides her iconic pink car, the orchestra plays alongside her. When Ken sings his powerful solo, the orchestra passionately accompanies him. When Barbie confronts the patriarchy, the music swells with tension. It's a sensory feast—a symphony of sight and sound.

Barbie The Movie: In Concert embarks on a North American tour, visiting 37 cities. From the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles to the intimate theaters of New York, fans of all ages gather to celebrate Barbie's legacy. Specialty merchandise, including limited-edition Barbie dolls dressed as the film's characters, adds to the excitement.
