5 Seconds of Summer is jet-set to share 'the feeling of falling upward as the group celebrates over a decade of pop-rock anthems at The 5 Seconds of Summer Show. Celebrating over a decade of global domination with chart-topping anthems "She Looks So Perfect", "Youngblood", "Don't Stop", "Easier", "Teeth", and many more pop-rock staples, 5 Seconds of Summer is gearing up to launch The 5 Seconds of Summer Show. The tour will visit major cities across North America, including this very special stop at Budweiser Stage.
Alongside the band's exciting tour announcement, 5 Seconds of Summer is releasing a live album, The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall, expected to hit airwaves this coming April 14th. The album was recorded during a one-night special show last 2022, featuring a 12-piece string orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir gracefully serving a new take on the band's pop-rock anthems, including "Youngblood", "Take My Hand", and "Me Myself & I".
"The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ is simply supposed to describe to you the feeling that we have experienced together, the feeling of taking a leap of faith on such a fickle thing like music," Ashton Irwin shared live on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. "And sharing this experience together year after year, season after season of our lives."
The 5 Seconds of Summer Show will cover five eras across the band's entire discography, and fans can expect concert setlist favorites such as "Amnesia" from their self-titled debut LP, "Jet Black Heart" from "Sounds Good, Feels Good", "Teeth" from "CALM", "Ghost of You" from "Youngblood", and "Take My Hand" from "5SOS5".
With 5SOS5 hitting #2 on the US Billboard 200, fans raved its massive release, as the album explored tales of friendship and brotherhood throughout their career. "In many ways, this album feels like the first one to me," Luke shared in an interview with NME. "…this time around, we had this freedom and sense of feeling carefree, in a way that we didn’t really have the last time around. I think that really shines through in the lyrics: everything has changed, and nothing has changed for us. It was nice to feel as though we’re able to do all of this on our own."
