Drops Of Jupiter: 25 Years In The Atmosphere

Some might remember when Train departed from their station in 1998 with their eponymous debut album featuring the hit single Virginia. You'll definitely remember when 2001’s Diamond-certified smash-hit single Drops Of Jupiter hit the airwaves - and infested the world with the two-time Grammy Award-winning ear-worm.  2009’s Hey, Soul Sister went platinum thirteen times, satisfying the long-time fans and winning over those who weren’t all that convinced yet. Now Train has been in the atmosphere for just over three decades, and the memorable day Drops Of Jupiter took over the airwaves was 25 years ago: time really flies when you’re having fun… and great music.

Train is set to return to the rails of fantastic music this summer with an extensive 38-date run in celebration of their breakthrough hit. The Drops Of Jupiter: 25 Years In The Atmosphere Tour is departing from West Palm Beach, Florida, in early July 2026, stopping at all the major venues across North America before disembarking in Auburn, Washington at the end of August 2026. The question is - are you going to be on the Train when it departs to a destiny of pure pop-rock nostalgia, incredible anthems, and heartfelt ballads?

Train Of Your Dreams

Let’s be frank: Train is a dream of a band. Ever since Drops Of Jupiter hit the airwaves, they became the soundtrack to countless lives. Lead singer Pat Monahan - the man with pure silk instead of a voice, bassist Hector Maldonado, keyboardist Jerry Becker, drummer Matt Musty have addictive reggae, country rock and pop sensibilities, enough to totally absorb anybody that listens. This time around, songwriter and long-time collaborator Butch Walker will be joining the band on guitar and vocals, just adding to the timeless melodies and choruses that never leave the mind. In short - you’ll be getting a few things at the Drops Of Jupiter: 25 Years In The Atmosphere Tour: fantastic music delivered to perfection by the very creators thereof, electrifying stagecraft, memorable moments, and the time of your life!

Special Guests

Train will be joined on tour by Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies best known for smash-hits such as If I Had $1000000 and the popular Big Bang Theory Theme, alongside singer-songwriter and folk and rock and roll icon Matt Nathanson, the mastermind behind bangers such as Come On Get Higher and Laid
